As noted, we want he diagrams to show the major components of your system
and how those components are related and interact.
This means we want (as much as possible, without trying to drown the viewer
in detail) to see
- What parts are front end
- What parts of the front end are UI
- What parts of the front end are major functional chunks
- What parts are back end
- Where is the network ... how does the network separate subsytems?
- Are there remote componets that your system must interact with?
for example... the Shiboleth SSO services here at UNC.
- Do you have a databse (or filesystem)? what is it, and where
does it sit in the backend structure
- Is this a phone app? Web app? Old-school stand-alone program?
- Are you back end services (if there are any) cold-rolled? Or did you use a
service provider of package (AWS, Heroku, Firebase, etc.)?
